There is an on-resort booking office which offers a wide range of activities meaning you won't have a problem finding something to suit all age groups, from water parks to boat trips and golf to jeep tours.
Beaches
If your ideal holiday is spending time relaxing on the beach, the Algarve is a great choice.
With over 150 kilometers of golden beaches and an amenable year-round climate, the Algarve season extends beyond high summer and enables you to choose less crowded periods of the year.
Vilamoura Beach ("Praia da Marina" or "Praia de Vilamoura") is on the eastern side of Vilamoura Marina and is around a 10-15 minute walk from The Old Village. It is a lovely sandy beach with beach bars, sunbeds and a very convenient, large car park right behind the beach.
Vilamoura Beach can also be accessed via the Tourist Train which stops just outside of the main entrance to The Old Village. Once there is very easy, as the boarded walkway along the beach joins the road at the car park. It is classed as an "Accessible Beach" and has lifeguard supervision during the beach season.

Golf
There are an incredible 35 courses in the Algarve region, 5 of which are located within the Vilamoura area. The Old Village itself is surrounded by the Pinhal Golf Course and you are only minutes away from Laguna, Millennium, The Old Course, Victoria and Vila Sol Courses.
